How to Reach?
Off the beaten track yet extremely well connected Rose Cottage boutique hotel and homestay is situated in the picturesque village of Hartola in Uttrakhand. Its 340 km's from New Delhi, which takes about 8 hours by road. Its just 50 km's from Nanital and 30 km's from Mukteshwar in what are truly wonderful drives that cross forests, river-lets and some historic and picturesque areas like Ramgarh. The last 10 kms from Nathuakhan village to Hartola is through a thick alpine forest called Kala Pathar with Deodars and Oak. Other areas which are in proximity are Mukteshwar, Jageshwar Temples, Almora, Golu Devi temple.
Kathgodam/ Haldwani is the closest railhead to Hartola and is connected by many trains including the Shatabdi from Delhi and the over night Ranikhet Express. From Kathgodam it's a 75 km or two hour drive which takes you past the famous Bhimtal Lake, Ramgarh, Nathuakhan and then to Hartola.

There is excellent connectivity of trains from Delhi and Kathgodam. Rose Cottage can also arrange taxis from your stations.
